Our self-catering Wanaka holiday accommodation is situated in a fabulous location close to all local Wanaka visitor attractions and amenities. To help make your visit as enjoyable as possible we have compiled together our most frequently asked questions with helpful answers. If you cannot find the advice you are seeking please do not hesitate to Contact Us for further information.

How many people can stay in the Apollo apartment?
Wanaka Holiday AccommodationThe fully self-contained modern apartment can comfortably sleep 5 guests, however there is a double pull-out sofa bed, so up to 7 people can stay in the apartment at one time.

How many people can stay in the Apollo Lodge?
The spacious self-contained lodge has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 guests.

What is the difference between self-catering and self-contained accommodation compared to a motel or hotel?
Fully self-contained/catering accommodation means you can enjoy holiday accommodation offering most of the conveniences you enjoy and expect in your own home or an up-market holiday house.  Our apartment and lodge feel like a ‘home’ with full kitchen and cooking facilities, private bathroom, a laundry that includes a washing machine and dryer, a living room and dining area. You don’t have to worry about intrusive cleaners waking you in the morning or your privacy being invaded.

How can I check availability for the holiday apartment or the self-catering lodge?
You will need to contact our reservation team to confirm availability and accommodation rates. You can contact us by using the Request a Quotation form within our Website, or you can telephone us directly. Our telephone and fax details can be found via our Contact Us page.

We haven’t confirmed our holiday dates yet, therefore can we just turn up or do you suggest we book in advance?
Wanaka Holiday AccommodationBecause of the popularity of our Wanaka lodge and apartment accommodation and central location, we definitely recommend booking in advance, especially during our peak periods, which include New Year's Eve Week, Easter, July School Holidays and the Skiing months of July, August and September.

When I arrive where do I check in?
We will provide all information in your booking confirmation email.

How often will our accommodation be serviced during our stay?
Your lodge or apartment will be professionally cleaned and ready for your arrival on the first day. Your accommodation will then be serviced weekly, including change of sheets, linen, rubbish removal and cleaning of the facilities. However, if you would like your holiday accommodation serviced more often during your stay please advise us and we will provide you with a quote for this additional service.

What is your check in and check out times?
Check in time is from 2.00pm and check out is 10.00am.

Is your accommodation child friendly?
Wanaka Holiday AccommodationYes. We specialise in groups and family bookings. If your child/ren are under 2 years of age and you supply their bedding - they stay for free! There is a playground located nearby plus popular family attractions such as the cinema, Puzzling World & Maze, Alpine Fighters Museum and much more are within easy commuting distance.

We are a very large group and would like to book both the apartment and the lodge. How close are the apartment and the lodge to each other?
The apartment and lodge are actually adjoined with a shared laundry between the apartment and the lodge with a lockable door on each side, therefore you can actually have access to the entire lodge and apartment facility if required.

Our child has a lot of food allergies, therefore we will need to do a lot of our own cooking in the self contained accommodation, are there any grocery shops close by?
Both the apartment and the lodge are only 300 metre’s from the wholesale vege market and local butchery. A large supermarket is only a few minutes drive time from our accommodation. Lake Wanaka township, including restaurants, cafes and shops is only a 10 minute walk away, or 3-5 minutes drive time.

What is your Reservation Policy?
Wanaka Holiday AccommodationWe require valid credit card details to secure your accommodation booking, however if we require a deposit to confirm your booking we will advise you of this in your booking confirmation. Public Holidays may incur a 15% surcharge on the previous night of departure.

What are your Cancellation Policies?

Is it safe to use my credit card online?
